ENDEAVOR ANNOUNCE WWE & UFC MERGER

The UFC parent company Endeavor announced earlier this week that a deal has been struck to officially buy the WWE. Under the banner of Endeavor, both the UFC and the WWE will merge to form a $21 billion global fighting juggernaut.

‘FRANCIS ASKING FOR UNREALISTIC MONEY’

Francis Ngannou and his demands seem to have taken the center stage once again this week. This time BKFC president David Feldman said in a press conference that Ngannou asked for unrealistic amounts of money which they are certainly not willing to pay. Guess we can check off BKFC from our list then.

ALEX VOLKANOVSKI VS YAIR RODRIGUEZ SET FOR UFC 290

It appears as though the featherweight title unification bout between Alexander Volkanovski and Yair Rodriguez are set to serve as one of the headliners for UFC 290 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, on July 8. Volkanovski and Rodriguez both also participated in UFC 284 which took place in February earlier this year.

‘BRAIN DAMAGED COLBY CAN’T FIGHT FOR THE TITLE’

During the UFC 287 Media Day Jorge Masvidal insisted that if Colby Covington gets the title shot next, the UFC will likely be sued. This is because Covington and Masvidal are indulged in an ongoing lawsuit. Covington filed for claims of suffering from brain injury when Masvidal assaulted him outside a steakhouse in Miami last year.

ADESANYA’S ‘DO OR DIE MOMENT’ AT UFC 287

Israel Adesanya seemed to have taken some inspiration from Eminem going into a gigantic rematch against Alex Pereira at UFC 287. The former champion claimed in his media day presser that this match is a do or die situation for him. And he only got one last shot to get the job done.
