FIZIEV VS GAMROT BOOKED FOR SEPTEMBER
Rafael Fiziev will be returning to action against Mateusz Gamrot on September 23rd as both fighters will headline the event. Fiziev last faced Gaethje at UFC 286 in London. The co-main event includes Bryce Mitchell who will go up against Dan Ige in a Featherweight bout.
BISPING BACKS ASPINALL OVER JON JONES
The annihilation of Marcin Tybura by Tom Aspinall at UFC London last week got everyone talking about the potential matchup between Aspinall and Jones. Supporting his fellow countryman, Michael Bisping made the crazy claim that Jon Jones would face the same fate as Tybura if they both locked horns in the octagon.
GIGA CHIKADZE TO MAKE HIS RETURN AT UFC SINGAPORE
Last seen brutalized inside the octagon against Calvin Kattar, Giga Chikadze is set to make his return at UFC Singapore against Alex Caceres after a year and a half away from the action. Chikadze was once touted as the man to create problems in the Featherweight division but the talks vaporized after his last performance.
EDSON BARBOZA VS SODIQ YUSUFF BOOKED FOR OCTOBER
Edson Barboza will face Sodiq Yusuff at UFC Fight Night on October 14 in Las Vegas. The Brazilian will look to grab back-to-back victories after he knocked out Billy Quarantillo in his last bout. Since his move to Featherweight he is 3-3 in the weight class. However it won’t come easy as Yusuff is a solid name in the division and has only one loss to Brendan Allen.
TONY FERGUSON FEELS LIKE HE’S IN HIS PRIME
Yep you read that right. Tony is not promoting Prime hydration but is rather talking about his UFC Career. During the UFC Media Day, Tony spoke to the press and laid out his perfect plan. He said that he still feels in his prime and predicted getting a title shot after his next 5 fights.
