DC GIVES WARNING TO PEREIRA
PLUS: JAKE TAKES DIG AT MCGREGOR

Fight lovers! With no major events happening last week, UFC Vegas returns this Saturday night. Also, we take a look at what’s been cooking in the combat world recently.

DC WARNS PEREIRA OF LEGENDARY POLISH POWER
Dana White announced last month that Alex Pereira would be moving up to Light Heavyweight and will face Jan Blachowicz in the co main event of UFC 291. However, Daniel Cormier in his podcast has warned that it won’t be a stroll in the park for the Brazilian, as Blachowicz packs mesmerizing power in his hands given Pereira’s tendency to get hit often.

JAKE PAUL TAKES A DIG AT CONOR MCGREGOR
During Jake Paul’s appearance on his brother’s podcast ‘Impaulsive’ the Problem Child made a bold claim to knock Nate Diaz out when the two square off in the boxing ring in August. He couldn’t help but land a jab at Conor Mcgregor insisting that he would do what the Irishman couldn’t pull off that is shutting Nate Diaz’s lights out.

ALMEIDA VS BLAYDES SET FOR SAO PAULO
After finishing off Rozenstruik not even a month ago, Jailton Almeida has earned himself another main event, this time in his home country. He is set to face Curtis Blaydes who will look to bounce back from a defeat against Sergei Pavlovich. The fight is targeted for November 4th in Sao Paulo.

JARED GORDON PULLS OUT OF JIM MILLER FIGHT
With only hours left until UFC Vegas 74, it has now been revealed that one of the event's marquee fights, Jared Gordon vs. Jim Miller, will no longer take place. Gordon has been forced to withdraw due to an undisclosed injury. It seems Jesse Butler, a recent UFC addition, has stepped up in his place to take on Miller with less than two days' notice.

‘WARHEAD CHANDLER MIGHT LOSE AGAINST MCGREGOR’ CLAIMS BENEIL DARIUSH
Number 4 UFC Lightweight contender Beneil Dariush has given his two cents on the future fight between Michael Chandler and Conor Mcgregor. He thinks Chandler’s ability to entertain the crowd rather than using his tools efficiently will lead to his downfall against Conor Mcgregor.

Quite an eventful week. Since the last newsletter we’ve posted two documentaries. If you haven’t watched them you can catch the Chatri documentary here and the Aljamain Sterling video essay here. Both quite different in style. I’ll also be doing a Q&A on Patreon next week. Jon Jones Part 2 coming up next. Have a great weekend guys!
