FABIAN EDWARDS DEFEATS GEGARD MOUSASI ON BELLATOR 296

Fabian Edwards, who happens to be UFC-champ Leon Edwards’ brother, just added an impressive win to his resume (12W-2L-0D). In a 5-round middleweight title elimination, Fabian emerged victorious with a unanimous decision. He’s now set for a title shot against current Bellator middleweight champ Johnny Eblen.

TOM ASPINALL TO HEADLINE UFC LONDON

Dana White announced this week in his special announcement video that Tom Aspinall will face Poland’s Marcin Tybura in the main event of UFC London on July 22nd. Aspinall last fought Curtis Blaydes in London where he injured his knee in the opening seconds of the bout. Since then he’s been on the road to recovery but now finally he has a fight lined up.

VETERAN ROBBIE LAWLER TO HANG UP GLOVES AT UFC 290

Dana White also stated during the announcements that Robbie Lawler will retire after his fight with Niko Price at UFC 290, capping off a 22-year career in the sport. However, to everyone’s surprise, Lawler will need to settle for a place in the prelims.

CEJUDO WANTS MERAB’S HEAD ON A PLATE

Hours after being on the receiving end of a razor thin defeat against Aljamain Sterling, Triple C called out Merab Dvalishvili hinting that he is not going back into retirement once again. Merab, who stole the show by stealing O’Malley’s jacket inside the octagon, welcomes the challenge.
